Felixstowe House Clearance - How We Work

How We Work

Felixstowe
House Clearance

We understand that if you have never arranged a clearance before, you may not know what to expect. You might be clearing a whole house, sorting through a garage or dealing with a property after a loved one has passed away. Whatever the circumstances, our aim is to make the process as simple and stress-free as possible.

01

We visit the property

The first step is to arrange a convenient time for us to visit the house, garage or other area you would like cleared.

We will walk around the property with you, review everything that needs to be removed, and make sure we understand your instructions. Whether you need us to clear one room, a garage full of belongings or an entire property, no job is too big or too small.

02

We assess items of value

As we look around the property, we will also assess any furniture, collectables or other belongings that may have a resale value.

If there are items we can sell or find a new home for, their value can be considered when we prepare your quotation. We will always be open with you about this. Our quotation will consider the labour involved, the volume of items to be removed, disposal costs and the value of anything suitable for resale.

03

What about items for charity?

We work closely with local charities and are always happy to help suitable belongings find a new home. If there are items you would like to donate, just let us know when we visit.

It is worth allowing us to assess everything before deciding what to donate or remove from the property. Some furniture and other belongings may have a value that we can use to reduce the cost of your clearance. We can then discuss the available options with you, so you can decide what feels right.

04

You receive a free quotation

Once we know what the job involves, we will provide a clear, no-obligation quotation.

Every clearance is priced individually because no two properties or situations are the same. Our quotation will be based on what needs to be cleared, the work involved, and any items of value that can be taken off the final bill.

05

We arrange your clearance

If you are happy with the quotation, we will arrange a suitable date to carry out the work.

Our team will arrive as agreed and complete the clearance carefully and efficiently. We will follow the instructions discussed during our visit and treat the property and its contents with respect throughout.

06

We leave the property clean and tidy

Our work does not end when the last item has been taken out. Once the clearance is complete, we tidy up after ourselves and leave the cleared areas in a presentable condition.

This is particularly important during probate clearances. Clearing the home of someone who has passed away can be one of the most difficult jobs a family has to face. The last thing you should have to do afterwards is return to sweep, hoover and tidy the rooms. We take care of this for you, giving you one less thing to worry about at an already upsetting time.

07

Nothing to pay upfront

We never ask for payment before the work begins. Once the clearance is complete, we will ensure you are happy with everything we have done. Only then will we produce your invoice.

It is a simple and honest way of working. You know what has been agreed; you can see that the job has been completed properly, and you pay only once the work is finished.

08

A local team you can rely on

We are local lads who take pride in doing a good job for our customers. We turn up when agreed, work hard and treat every property with care. From your first enquiry to the final tidy-up, we aim to provide a no-fuss service that leaves you pleasantly surprised by just how much we take care of.
